Caption

This axial T2 weighted MRI shows numerous enlarged, tortuous vessels in the cerebral hemisphere and around the region of the transverse sinus on the viewers right. These changes reflect both abnormal arterial feeders to a high flow dural arterial-venous fistula around the region of the transverse sinus and engorged, congested veins due to the high flow malformation increasing the volume of venous blood from AV shunting.
