NA48 experiment apparatus. Engineers working on the north area 48 (NA48) particle detector at CERN (the European particle physics laboratory) near Geneva, Switzerland. This apparatus was used for the NA48 experiment to study the direct effect of CP (charge parity) violation, which may be able to explain matter/antimatter imbalance.
