Iron Age decorative heads. Close-up of decorative head objects produced by the Villanovan culture that existed in central and northern Italy from 1100 BC to 700 BC. Metals used by the Villanovan culture included both iron and bronze. These items, excavated in Verucchio, are being preserved as part of work by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Bologna, Italy.
