The crested San Padro cactus (Trichocereus pachanoii cristata) is indigenous to the northern mountainous reaches of South America. It is now a popular nursery cultivated specimen often referred to as organ pipe cactus. It is characterized by its peculiar crested surface that comes in many varieties and sizes.
