Spotted lanternfly (Lycorma delicatula). This planthopper pierces a plant's leaves and young stems to feed on its sap. The leaking sap encourage the growth of mould, which may inhibit growth or cause plant death. It feeds on a number of crop plants, including grapes, stone fruits and apples. The spotted lanternfly is native to China, India and Vietnam, but was found in Pennsylvania, USA, in 2014.
