Caption

Whitetip reef shark (Triaenodon obesus) resting on the seabed, before swimming off when the camera approaches. It has a remora fish on its back. This is a common shark on reefs in the tropical Indo-Pacific region. By day it generally rests in caves or on the seabed, emerging at night to feed in nooks and crannies in the reef. Filmed on the Great Barrier Reef, Australia.
