Scanning electron micrograph (SEM) of Sheep nematode, Ostertagia circumcincta (also known as Teladorsagia circumcincta). This parasitic nematode lives in sheep or goats and occasionally in cattle. It parasitizes the gastric gland and the abomasum mucosa in these ruminant animals. It causes production loss due to weight loss. Magnification x10 when shortest axis printed at 25 millimetres.
