Intracerebral haemorrhage. Coloured axial computed tomography (CT) scan through the brain of a 32-year-old woman who has bleeding in the brain (an intracerebral haemorrhage). The resulting mass of blood is seen at upper right (rounded area, pink). This bleeding was caused by the rupture of an arterial malformation of a branch of the middle cerebral artery.
