Lagerstatte (= an undisturbed fossil accumulation) of Albian-Cretaceous age near Ceara, in northeastern Brazil. These deposits are widely renowned for their richness in well preserved fossils of a very diverse fauna, including fish, reptiles, amphibians, pterosaurs and invertebrates, notably insects. The long antennae in this specimen attest for the exceptional preservation here encountered. Image size is 80 by 120 mm.
