Microscope footage of a Scelionid wasp fossilised in amber. This piece of amber is from the Eocene epoch (56-33.9 million years ago) and was found in what is now Poland. Amber is the fossilised resin of coniferous trees, and often contains insects and other small animals, providing valuable insights into the ecosystems at the time.
