Giant monkey frog, or giant leaf frog, (Phyllomedusa bicolor). This frog excretes a poison through its skin which induces molecular shock and regurgitation in a predator. The skin secretions of this frog family also contain potent antimicrobial compounds known as phylloseptins, which act by bursting bacterial cells. They are being researched as possible next generation antibiotics.
