Storm waves. Large waves crashing against a sea wall. These waves were caused by the storm surge of approaching Hurricane Ike. Ike struck the southeast Texas coast on 13th September, 2008. It is the costliest hurricane in Texas history and the second-deadliest U.S. hurricane since 1972. Photographed in Galveston, Texas, USA, on 12th September 2008.
