Seborrhoeic keratoses. Close-up of the arm of a patient with lesions on the skin in a case of seborrhoeic keratosis. These growths are benign and harmless skin tumours of the superficial cells of the epidermis. Typically brown, slightly raised with a soft wart-like appearance, they are not true warts nor are they derived from sebaceous glands. They are often referred to as 'old age barnacles' due to their stuck-on the skin morphology. Photographed in India.
