Pyromorphite crystals. Pyromorphite (lead phosphate chloride) is a minor ore of lead, which occurs in the oxidised zones of lead deposits. The name pyromorphite is derived from the Greek words meaning fire and form. This sample, found in France, is 10 centimetres long.
