Hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) surfacing through a huge school of bigeye trevally (Caranx sexfasciatus). Like all turtles, the hawskbill has to surface to breathe air, although it can remain underwater for 40 minutes or more, and several hours while asleep. The hawksbill turtle is critically endangered. Filmed in Palau.
