Veined octopus and corals. Veined octopus (Octopus marginatus) walking over a sea bed dotted with solitary corals (Heterocyathus aequicostatus). The veined octopus often buries itself in sand or mud but will use any available debris to build itself shelter. It is well-known for hiding in large shells, particularly discarded coconut shells. When on the move it takes the shells with it. Photographed off Bali, Indonesia.
