Caption

The Atlantic Sabertooth (Coccorella atlantica) has a considerable set of teeth to use in prey capture. The species has been trawled from depths as deep as 1000 meters. This specimen was collected in the Gulf of Mexico between 1.500 meters depth and the surface, 2016. Image courtesy of the DEEPEND project.
