Caption

There are several species of transparent pelagic nudibranchs (Phylliroe sp.) which are marine gastropod molluscs in the order Opisthobranchia. These are sea slugs that spend their lives in the water column. This individual was trawled from between 200 meters depth and the surface, Gulf of Mexico, 2016.
