Candelabra cactus (Jasminocereus thouarsii var. Cacti are arid-adapted plants that are found in the barren areas of the Galapagos, such as the coastal volcanic rocks. The cactus fruits (red) are an important source of food for the animals on the islands. Photographed on Isabela Island, Galapagos Islands.
