Polarised light micrograph of crystals of ferrous sulphate. Known also as Iron (II) sulphate, it is depicted by the formula: FeSO4, 7H2O. It may be obtained from the waste liquor resulting from pickling steel in sulphuric acid. Magnification: x25 at 6x7cm size.
