Teleoceras, illustration. This extinct prehistoric mammal was a rhinoceros that lived from about 20 to 4 million years ago, from the Early Miocene to the Early Pliocene. It was probably semi-aquatic and had a small nasal horn. Its fossils have been found in Europe and North America.
