Oxydactylus prehistoric camel, illustration. This extinct prehistoric camel lived from 30 to 13 million years ago, from the Oligocene to the Middle Miocene. It had long legs and a long neck, probably used to reach high-growing vegetation. Its fossils are found in North America.
