Marjorie Van de Water (1900-1962), US science writer. Van de Water wrote for Science Service from 1929 to 1962, covering advances in psychology and sociology. Science Service was an organisation dedicated to informing the public of the latest scientific discoveries and achievements. Van de Water won several journalism awards, and her work became particularly relevant during and after World War II, with mews media attempting to explain political propaganda and the psychological impacts of war.
