Distended abdomen of a 87 year old man with non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). NHL is a cancer of the B-cells (B-lymphocytes), a type of white blood cell in the body's immune system. Symptoms are varied and can include lymph node enlargement, headaches, skin ulceration, loss of appetite, fever and constant fatigue. Treatment is by radiotherapy, anti-cancer drugs and, if necessary, bone marrow transplant.
