Probe used to measure the acidity of a solution. The tip of the probe is immersed in the liquid to be tested. The glass bulb at the tip contains electrodes that measure the electrical potential of the hydrogen ions present in the solution. This is directly related to pH, which is a measure of the concentration of hydrogen ions.
