Albertosaurus dinosaur sleeping, illustration. Albertosaurus fossils have been found in western North America, dating to around 70 million years ago during the Late Cretaceous. This theropod dinosaur was a bipedal predator, walking on its hind legs. It grew to lengths of around 9 metres.
