Burning sulphur cascade on Ijen volcano, Indonesia. Blue flames and volcanic fumes rising from sulphur vents. The blue flames are a popular tourist attraction. The sulphur here is mined for industrial uses, such as the production of fertilisers and dyes, though it is primarily used in the manufacture of sulphuric acid for further industrial uses. Photographed in August 2015.
