Effects of Hurricane Harvey on Cambodian community. Cambodian immigrant farmer living in a makeshift tent after his house was totally destroyed by Hurricane Harvey. This community of Cambodian immigrant farmers is still living in near Third World conditions, with little outside assistance, more than two months after Hurricane Harvey swept through southeast Texas, USA. His water supply has not been tested for contamination since the storm and where his house had been, only a toilet is left, connected to a septic system. He came to Texas as a refugee in 1981 after fleeing the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia. Photographed in Rosharon, Texas, in November 2017.
