Cape fox (Vulpes chama) clearing sand away from the entrance of its den at dawn. This small fox, measuring up to 60 centimetres, inhabits the grasslands and savannahs of southern Africa. It is mostly nocturnal and lives alone or in pairs in dens. It feeds on small rodents, rabbits, reptiles, insects and little plant matter. Filmed in the Auob riverbed of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, Southern Africa.
