Caption

Following a grey reef shark (Carcharhinus amblyrhynchos) as it swims over a coral reef drop-off. The grey reef shark is a common species found on reefs throughout the tropical Indo-Pacific region. It feeds mainly on fish, and it also takes octopus and squid. It is most active at night, but it does hunt at all times of day. It can reach a length of up to two metres, but despite its modest size it is known to have attacked humans, particularly those who approach too close. Filmed in Palau.
