High-speed footage of the launch of the Cassini-Huygens mission, on 15th October 1997. This was a joint NASA-ESA-Italian Space Agency mission to study Saturn and its moons. It launched on a Titan IVB rocket from Cape Canaveral, USA. The spacecraft entered orbit around Saturn on 1st July 2004. It released the Huygens lander on 25th December that year, which landed on Saturn's largest moon Titan on 14th January 2005. The mission was extended several times, before the Cassini spacecraft was deliberately crashed into Saturn on 15th September 2017.
