Traumatic perforated eardrum, otoscope view. The tympanic membrane (eardrum) has perforated due to an injury (trauma). The patient had been hit over the ear by her partner and developed transient dizziness, a hearing loss which recovered, and tinnitus which was very slow to subside. The perforations healed spontaneously.
