Fracture of elbow bone, X-ray. This fracture is of the head of the radius, the smaller of the two lower arm bones. It is seen here at lower left above the ulna, with both bones articulating with the humerus (upper arm bone) at the elbow joint (lower right). The head of the radius is near centre, with the fractured displacement of the head of the radius visible from this angle. For alternative views of this injury, see images C038/6689 and C038/6690.
