Caption

Ant milking bark lice. An ant collects honeydew secreted by one of a number of bark lice (order Psocoptera). Some species of ant protect and tend to other insects, including bark lice (also called bark flies or book lice), aphids and treehoppers. They use the sweet nectar-like liquid they secrete as nourishment.
