Bluespotted ribbontail ray (Taeniura lymma). This stingray inhabits the oceans of the Indo-Pacific, where it spends most of its time buried in the sand or under ledges. Two poisonous stings near the end of its tail are used in defence. Photographed in the Red Sea, Egypt.
