Apollo 12 crew launch preparations. Interior view of the White Room at Pad A, Launch Complex 39, Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Florida, USA, during the insertion of the Apollo 12 crew. At centre is US astronaut and mission commander Charles 'Pete' Conrad. At right is Alan Bean, lunar module pilot. Out of view is Richard Gordon, command module pilot. Apollo 12 took place from 14-24 November 1969. It was the second manned mission to land on the Moon, with Conrad and Bean touching down on the Moon on 19 November 1969, while Gordon remained in orbit around the Moon. Photographed on 14 November 1969.
