Lava flow due to Kilauea eruption, advancing across a road. Kilauea is a volcano on the main island of Hawaii. This lava flow is from fissure 7 in Leilani Estates, part of an eruptive episode that began in May 2018, known as the 2018 lower Puna eruption. The road is Hookapu Street and the lava flow is advancing to the north-east. Photographed on 5 May 2018 at 07:45 HST (Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time).
