Kilauea eruption lava flows. Aerial photograph of lava flows from a fissure that opened during an eruptive episode on Kilauea, a volcano on the main island of Hawaii. Kilauea is the most active of the volcanoes on Hawaii. This activity is part of the 2018 lower Puna eruption that began in May 2018. These lava flows are from fissure 22, seen on 22 May 2018 in the early morning.
