Decapeptyl drug vials and packaging. Decapeptyl (triptorelin acetate) is an injectable drug that is a gonadorelin analogue. It acts on the pituitary gland which then limits the production of male and female sex hormones. It is used to treat female infertility to induce ovulation for in vitro fertilization (IVF) cases. It is also used to treat of hormone-dependant prostate cancers in a form of hormone therapy. Photographed in a hospital in Paris, France.
