Plastics recycling centre. Plastic sheets being loaded into a granulator at a recycling centre. This facility recycles plastic products from numerous sources. It breaks them down and supplies the resulting regrinds, compounds and baled plastics to customers engaged in a wide range of activities from compounding, to bag blowing and injection moulding. Sheeting that is recycled is generally only used for low-grade applications, such as bin liners, because of the contamination effect of the printing ink, making it only suitable for dark colours, such as grey or black. Photographed at Vanden Recycling, UK.
Model release available. Property release not required.
