Kilauea eruption fissure. Aerial footage of smoke and lava emerging from a fissure that opened during an eruptive episode on Kilauea, a volcano on the main island of Hawaii. Kilauea is the most active of the volcanoes on Hawaii. This activity, in the Lower East Rift Zone, is part of the 2018 lower Puna eruption that began in May 2018. Filmed on 16 May 2018.
