Caption

An Astroidal Ellipsoid. The astroidal ellipse is formed by cubing each coordinate in the parameterization of an ellipse. The surface is the inverse of the ellipsoid in the sense that it goes in where the ellipsoid goes out. It is defined by the equation ((cos(u)*cos(v)),(sin(u)*cos(v)),sin(v)).
