Anemone hermit crab carrying sea anemones. At night these large crabs are commonly seen feeding on the corals and sand patches of the reef. To protect themselves from predators they attach anemones to their shells. The stings of the anemone are enough to deter most attacks. This image is part of a series showing the identical specimen in white light and blue light, in which the anemones fluoresce. Photographed in the Lembeh Strait, North Sulawesi, Indonesia.
