Stereolithography 3D printer. This 3D printer uses the technologies of stereolithography (SLA) and digital light processing (DLP) to print 3D objects. Stereolithography builds a 3D object layer-by-layer (additive manufacturing), using resins and polymers that set to form the desired shape when exposed to light. The light source used here is controlled by digital light processing technology, which combines micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) and a digital micromirror device (DMD).
