German World War II flying bomb, also known as a buzz bomb, doodlebug or V-weapon, on display at the air and space museum in Le Bourget, near Paris, France. Officially called Vergeltungswaffen-1, or Vengeance Weapon 1, it was an early form of cruise missile launched from French and Dutch coasts across the English Channel against Britain in the second world war.
