Wheat field in summer. Wheat (Triticum sp.) growing in a field in summer near harvest time. This grass is one of the world's major cereal crops. Grains harvested from the ripe plant are ground to make flour, which is used to make bread and other food products. In the sky are some shallow cumulus clouds (cumulus humilis) and aircraft contrails. Photographed in the afternoon in July in Berkshire, UK.
