Caption

Coloured retrograde cysto-urethrogram (X-ray) in front view of the pelvis of a male patient, showing stones (calculi) in the prostate gland. The bladder (white, upper centre) lies above the prostate gland in which stones can be seen. The prostate is enlarged (benign hypertrophy). Stones in the prostate (prostatic lithiasis) are deposits of salts from bodily fluids and commonly they remain there unless there is an infection.
