Caption

Lady's mantle reproductive parts, coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM). Lady's mantle, a plant in the genus Alchemilla, produces flowers with four inward-facing anthers (two seen here) around a central round-tipped stigma protruding from a recess formed by a structure called the hypanthium. The anthers are at the four corners of the hypanthium.
