Big Dipper rising over Bonanza Peak (elevation, 9,511 ft.), in North Cascades National Park is the highest non-volcanic peak in Washington State. It commands an impressive view from the Cascade pass area south to Mount Rainier. It is flanked on three sides by very large glaciers.
