Hand of a male patient, showing clinodactyly of the little (fifth) finger. Fifth finger clinodactyly is the curving of this finger toward the fourth finger. This congenital malformation (birth defect) may be found in a person who is entirely normal, but is more common in patients of Down syndrome and Klinefelter syndrome.
